An educator at heart, Candace Walker now serves as a School Success Manager at ThinkCERCA. In this role, Candace supports educators and district leaders throughout the country by providing instructional best practices and literacy professional learning.
Candace obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and began teaching in Manatee County, FL upon graduating in 2010. She has taught grades 1st through 4th, both in traditional brick-and-mortar settings as well as virtually. In 2020, Candace transitioned from the classroom to become a Curriculum Specialist where she assisted in storyboarding and designing online content for grades Kindergarten through fifth grade. Now as a success leader, Candace’s journey has come full circle and her students are now teachers.
Candace has found great value in time blocking as it helps to maximize her day and serve at her highest capacity. One of her favorite quotes is "you can't give your life more time, so give the time you have left more life” – time blocking is a tool she uses to conquer goals, maintain her wellness, and cultivate joy – allowing her to get the most out of life. She enjoys sharing this organizational skill set with others.
