Hi Deevas, please join us for our April Women on the Rise International, Inc. meeting. We are so excited to Welcome one of our very own Women on the Rise members Christina Williams, Ed.S., NCSP, School Psychologist, as our April guest speaking on: How to love your child, Especially the stubborn child as well as Pat Williams, Master Hairstylist and Global Educator to answer all oof our haircare questions. 


Christina Williams

 

Hailing from Miami, Florida, Christina Williams is a school psychologist currently serving students in public education. Her love for the field of school psychology began as she worked as a Behavioral Support team member within a private psychological practice for four years where she was exposed to several children with many educational and emotional needs. Christina Williams attained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida A&M University, then went on to attain her Education Specialist degree from Florida International University.

 

Ms. Williams further advanced her education by meeting credentials to become a Nationally Certified School Psychologist.


Ms. Williams has spoken at other organizations in Florida providing insight into the importance of taking care of one’s mental health and advocating for educational rights for children. Ms. Williams co-founded, successfully launched, and serves as a co-chair on a committee that serves to increase educational equity and cultural responsiveness and sensitivity within public education.

 

During her free time, Ms. Williams enjoys hanging out with friends, video chatting with her family, venturing off to unexplored areas of Central Florida, and learning to play her viola.


Pat Williams


Pat Williams is an award winning master hairstylist, Global Educator, author, celebrity stylist, show producer, and beauty content editor. She is the winner of many styling awards including the Multi- Textural Global Ambassador in Chemistry and Styling, Winner Coiffure de Paris (France) Styling Award, Clairol Color Award, Black Hair Olympics (haircutting, styling and chemistry) and a patented inventor of the Hair Styling Disc.

Her new book, Natural Hair - Hairversations was published November 2018, available on Amazon.
To serve as an impactful change agent in the beauty industry by empowering women around the world to celebrate their natural hair and beauty through education is her vision.
Ms. Williams formerly worked as Technical -Artistic Director and Director of Education- Revlon for 17 years. She currently works as Global Education Ambassador for the Revlon Multicultural Group and manages her salon business and talent agency.

Pat is frequently called upon as an expert with the media and trade publications. She is featured this year in Hype Hair, Elle, Allure, Cosmopolitan magazines and Oprah.com. She has made appearances on ABC, NBC and FOX affiliates.
